The Turks and Caicos Islands Hospital is the country’s primary provider of secondary healthcare services, delivering a broad range of medical, surgical, diagnostic, and emergency care across its two facilities: Cheshire Hall Medical Centre in Providenciales and Cockburn Town Medical Centre in Grand Turk.

Dr. Denise Braithwaite-Tennant provides overall strategic leadership and direction for the hospital, overseeing operations, financial performance, and long-term planning. Responsible for ensuring the organization delivers high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining strong governance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Dawn Perry-Ewing provides executive leadership for all clinical services, overseeing medical governance, patient safety, and the quality of care across the hospital. Responsible for establishing clinical standards, guiding multidisciplinary teams, and driving continuous improvement in patient outcomes and service delivery.

Director of Nursing

Mikette Been provides strategic leadership for nursing services across the hospital, overseeing clinical standards, patient care delivery, and workforce development.
